We are delighted to announce CLAYDATE 2022!!! Come and join us for a clay filled weekend during the 25th-26th June, 11am-4 pm and get inspired by the art & architecture of Dover’s historic Maison Dieu. We will be offering a series of exciting clay activities as well as a ceramic market, a ceramic exhibition, and our signature raku firings

Join in Sat 4th Dec 2021 with raku firings throughout the day; as well as our hand building workshops, throwing demos & ceramics market!
On 28th Aug 21 (10-2pm) we will be running a hand building workshop outside Biggin Hall, in celebration with Dover Pride Artists and in the Community! You won’t want to miss this AMAZING day !

As part of the Leach100 Take Part! centennial celebrations. 21 raku events were held across the UK in July 2021 with the help of small grants from the Leach100 project. An inspiring shared smoke firing celebration hosted in Dover by Ceramic Art Dover.
Make sure you all come along to Waking the Giant on the 29th of February 2020, 11am- 5pm at Fort Burgoyne. We’ll be there running hand building workshops, raku firing demos, throwing workshop, throwing demos with Keith Brymer Jones and a wonderful ceramics market!
Our Claydate WEEKEND IS HERE - 4th, 5th July 2020
Join us from 11am and make sure to share your fabulous clay creations and use the hashtag #claydate2020. We will be sharing a wide variety of clay demonstrations and live interviews with our local ceramicists as well as an interview and studio tour with @kate_malone_ceramics , and a live interview with @keithbrymerjones !!! We’ll also be live streaming raku firings along with @future_foundry on Saturday !
We’d love for you all to get involved in helping create our Dover community lockdown pots, by making a small clay piece related to your lockdown experience. Your pieces will be attached to one of our community vases kindly made by the brilliant @keithbrymerjones !
CLAYDATE STARTS June 8th & 9th 2019 from 11am-4pm at Biggin Hall. All ages welcome, you can stay for as long or as little as you’d like! Workshop will run from 11am-3pm, raku firing will run 1pm-3pm, the pottery throw down competition will run 3pm-4pm, and finally the C.A.D private view will be 4pm-6pm.
They’ll be LOADS of amazing things happening over both days, from raku firings to a pottery throwdown with Keith Brymer Jones, as well as hand building workshops with local ceramicists, a ceramics market and a ceramic exhibition. Hope to see you all there for a couple of clay filled day!
